Frank Frazetta, dead at 82

It is with no small sadness that I learned today of the death of Frank Frazetta. I must attribute as much of my interest in fantasy roleplaying to Mr. Frazetta as to Gary Gygax himself. I wish the Frazetta family condolences in their loss, and the loss of yet another creative giant in the realm of fantasy. Click here to read more about Frank's life and passing.

Featured Artist(s)

The Setting Sourceweb utilizes the artistic talents of several RPG artists, as well as repurposing numerous historical artistic pieces that fall within the Public Domain. I have included an End Notes section that details the soure of each of these pieces where available.

Peter Szmer; It has been my good fortune to acquire the services of this very talented artist from England. You can view Peter's online gallery at http://graphcraft.deviantart.com/. My experience working with Peter has been nothing short of impressive. He is able to both accept art direction correctly, as well as provide substantive creative solutions himself. I can recommend Peter to other publishers looking to enlist new talent with the full confidence of my personal/proffesional experience working with him.

Peter's art graces both the Sourceweb, as well as many of the Usherwood Adventures.

Hugh Vogt; Hugh is an accomplished comic-style artist whose works have graced projects for Wizards of the Coast, Hero Games, Twilight Showcase, and Cemetery Dance Magazine. You can view Hugh's online gallery at http://www.hughvogt.com/. Hugh's art will make its Usherwood Publishing debut in the adventure The Manuscripts of Edric Mabillia.
